Life is about choices and I have two photography courses for you to choose from... These two courses offer completely different experiences in unique private game reserves. Thula Thula Exclusive Private Game Reserve in Zululand South Africa & The Africa Experience at Koro Island Camp Botswana.
Besides learning about your camera settings and techniques, these courses are an adventure that take you back into nature, to quiet but exciting moments that will make you feel alive like and far far away from this crazy world, it's a creative escape!
REQUIRMENTS: DSLR Camera, Camera Manual, Laptop, Head light, Tripod & Lightroom Classic for post processing & a small pocket size note pad & pen.
Thula Thula Exclusive Private Game Reserve Photography course
The Zulu name Thula Thula literally means peace and tranquility, based in the heart of Zululand Thula Thula offers animal sightings like no other, here you get really up close and personal with the elephant herd, made famous by the two best selling books, "The Elephant Whisperer" by the late Lawrence Anthony and "An Elephant in my kitchen" by Francoise Malby Anthony.
It's a peaceful habitat for the abundant wildlife which are visible everywhere and so calm that they often watch us, just as much as we watch them which gives you unbelievable photo opportunities. I mostly use an 18-135mm and a 70-300mm lenses here and you really don't need a longer lenses for the wildlife at Thula Thula making it an idyllic photography destination .
This course is suitable for everyone, we start with the very basics and work our way up from there.
Theory ~ Photography Essentials ~ Composition ~ Techniques ~ Tips and Tricks ~ Photography Exercises, Basic post processing in Light Room & practical every day on a game drive!!!
Based at the Luxury Tented Camp the rates are fully inclusive of your accommodation, delicious meals and game drives!

The Africa Experience Photography Course ~ Botswana
Rolling back the years to vintage Botswana!
Koro Island Camp, is a Stanley-esque like hide-away, ideal for explorer orientated travelers. Located on an island in the Limpopo River and accessible only via a suspension bridge. This is a jam packed safari adventure in the untouched, ancient landscape of the Tuli Block.
This photography course is more advanced, focused on practical, hands-on creative techniques during excursions. We are up at dawn and head out on a drive or walk back for breakfast, we then do theory till lunchtime, you will have free time after lunch for editing or a rest before we head out again for the afternoon drive.
